General Knowledge Quiz Club
5th February 2016
On Tuesday the 19th January, The Swaminarayan School hosted a local heat of the National General Knowledge Quiz Club Competition. We had two teams who competed against 11 other teams from a range of different schools. Each team consisted of one pupil, each from Year 3-6, and they had to work in their team to answer a series of general knowledge questions that extend beyond the normal curriculum. Our pupils did extremely well attaining our best ever results with Team 2 taking second place and Team 1 taking 4th. We now await the completion of all the heats to find out if Team 2’s score was good enough to make it through to the next round. Well done!
Team 1: Samhita Somasundar, Sohan Jobanputra, Darshh Hirani & Aum Amin
Team 2: Namya Arora, Sanchit Sethi, Akshay Mistry & Vedaangh Rungta
